Camille
curved-blade duelist of the Lilith brood
Camille — The Encounter
curved-blade duelist of the Lilith brood · a boss your table can run with almost no prep. SRD 5.1-compatible.
Who Is Camille
Where her sisters fall on prey in a frenzy, Camille keeps her footing and her curved blade level. She is the brood's duelist, sent to break a shield-wall's bravest defender so the line behind crumbles. Lilith's daughters fight as a flock, and Camille is the talon that pins a champion in place: her hooked steel catches an arm, a haft, a banner, and holds it while the others descend. The hunting-books call her the Quiet One, for she neither screams nor boasts; she simply parries, hooks, and waits for the swarm to do the rest.
Run Camille in Sixty Seconds
- Duel the tank then Camille ties up one strong melee foe while the flock swarms everyone else.
- Parry the big hit then her reaction can turn an enemy's crit-swing into a miss.
- Crit equals grapple then a hooked target is stuck for the sisters to finish.

How It Fights — by Tier
Same creature, scaled threat. The traits never change; only the numbers move.
Send Camille at the enemy's best melee fighter; she parries, hooks on a crit, and ties them up while sisters mob the rest. Don't run her solo.
Open by marking the toughest defender, Parry the first big swing, then grind them down. She holds one foe so the flock breaks the line.
Pin the enemy champion in a duel and let the warband flood past. Fight as a flock; when bloodied, Parry and back toward her sisters.

How a bound creature acts
- A companion acts on its owner's initiative, immediately after the owner.
- It uses the Companion block above — roughly ×0.6 HP and damage, no recharge abilities, and at most one reaction trait.
- It moves freely; it takes its Action only while its owner is conscious.
- At 0 HP a companion is broken, not dead — restored on a long rest unless your table rules otherwise.

Questions, Asked at the Table
What CR is Camille?
Native Tier 2, CR 6 (2,300 XP). Rescale with the tier table for Tier 1 or Tier 3 tables.
How does Camille fight alongside the rest of the Daughters of Lilith?
She duels and locks down the enemy's strongest defender so the rest of the flock can swarm unopposed. She is a controller, not a lone killer.
Does Camille have legendary actions?
No. She is an elite duelist with a punishing Parry reaction but no legendary actions, so she is not solo_capable.
