Hanna
sky-lance of the Lilith brood
Hanna — The Encounter
sky-lance of the Lilith brood · a boss your table can run with almost no prep. SRD 5.1-compatible.
Who Is Hanna
Hanna runs the brood's high lanes, a flying lance that picks one target from the press and drives it from the line entirely. Lilith's daughters fight as a flock, and Hanna is the spearhead that punches through, knocking shields apart so her sisters slip into the disorder. She keeps to her reach, striking from ten feet and angling away on the wing before a blade can answer. The grimoires call her the Falling Star, for she is seen only as a streak overhead an instant before her spear arrives, and the warriors she scatters never close ranks again.
Run Hanna in Sixty Seconds
- Dive 30 feet then Lance Charge adds 3d6 and shoves the target back 10 feet.
- Strike at reach then her spear hits from 10 ft so she stays out of most swings.
- Reposition free then Hover and Strike keeps her spear on a target without provoking.
Hanna
Medium fiend, neutral evil
CR 6 · 2,300 XP · GUIDELINELance Charge. If Hanna flies at least 30 feet straight toward a creature and hits it with her Spear, the target takes an extra 10 (3d6) piercing damage and must succeed on a DC 14 Strength save or be pushed 10 feet.
Innate Casting. Hanna can innately cast darkness at will (DC 13), requiring no material components.
Actions
Multiattack. Hanna makes two Spear attacks.
Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8+4) piercing damage.
Bonus Actions & Reactions
Hover and Strike (Bonus Action). Hanna flies up to half her speed without provoking opportunity attacks, repositioning to keep her spear's reach on a chosen foe.
Spear couched and hair streaming, she dives the length of the field, skewering a foe and shoving the rest aside on her wingbeat.

How It Fights — by Tier
Same creature, scaled threat. The traits never change; only the numbers move.
Dive Hanna at a shield-bearer: Lance Charge for bonus damage and a 10-ft shove, opening a gap, then Hover and Strike to stay at reach. Not solo.
Open with a 30-ft diving Lance Charge to shove a defender out of line, then fight from 10-ft reach as the flock floods the gap.
Spearhead the charge: punch one foe out of formation each round and let the flock exploit it. Fight as a flock; peel off when bloodied.

How a bound creature acts
- A companion acts on its owner's initiative, immediately after the owner.
- It uses the Companion block above — roughly ×0.6 HP and damage, no recharge abilities, and at most one reaction trait.
- It moves freely; it takes its Action only while its owner is conscious.
- At 0 HP a companion is broken, not dead — restored on a long rest unless your table rules otherwise.

Questions, Asked at the Table
What CR is Hanna?
Native Tier 2, CR 6 (2,300 XP). Rescale with the tier table as needed.
How does Hanna fight alongside the rest of the Daughters of Lilith?
She is the diving spearhead that shoves defenders out of line and opens gaps for the flock to exploit. She fights at reach, never as a solo brawler.
Is Hanna solo_capable?
No. She has native-tier numbers and no legendary actions; run her as part of a flock.
