Jun Jun
twin-hammer charge-breaker of the panda village-guard
Jun Jun — The Encounter
twin-hammer charge-breaker of the panda village-guard · a boss your table can run with almost no prep. SRD 5.1-compatible.
Who Is Jun Jun
Jun Jun fights at Bul Bul's shoulder, the twin striker to that anchor's wall. Where Bul Bul plants and holds, Jun Jun lunges and drives, hurling the enemy's front rank backward with paired hammers and a tusked belly-mask matching his guard-brother's. The panda village-guard fights as one interlocked formation, and these two are its hinge: one immovable, one irresistible. Trained together beneath the cherry trees, they read each other without a word, so that whatever Bul Bul stops, Jun Jun smashes. He never strays far from an ally's side, where his bracing stance and counter-blows are deadliest.
Run Jun Jun in Sixty Seconds
- Lunge 10+ ft. in then the first hit deals +2d6 and a DC 15 Str save or shove 10 ft.
- Stay next to an ally then Brace the Wall gives advantage vs. shove and prone.
- When struck in melee spend Counter-Smash to hammer back with a reaction.
- When bloodied keep driving the front rank back into its own formation.
Jun Jun
Medium humanoid (beastfolk), lawful neutral
CR 6 · 2,300 XP · GUIDELINELunging Drive. On a turn Jun Jun moves at least 10 feet straight toward a target, its first melee hit deals an extra 7 (2d6) bludgeoning damage and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength save or be pushed back 10 feet.
Brace the Wall. While Jun Jun is within 5 feet of an ally, it has advantage on saving throws against being knocked prone or moved.
Actions

Twin Hammer. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d8+4) bludgeoning damage. On a critical hit, the target is also knocked prone.

How It Fights — by Tier
Same creature, scaled threat. The traits never change; only the numbers move.
Lunge Jun Jun straight into the front rank to trigger the bonus damage and shove, then stay glued to an ally for Brace the Wall. He partners the anchor-pandas, never freelancing. Counter-Smash anyone who trades blows with him.
Open by moving 10+ feet into a target so Lunging Drive both bonus-damages and pushes it back into its line. Keep within 5 feet of Bul Bul or another ally so shoves and trips fail against you. Spend reactions on Counter-Smash every time you're struck.
Jun Jun is the driving half of the village-guard's hinge, shoving ranks back into chaos while the anchors hold. He fights paired with the warband, never solo. Lunge, push, then let Gum Gum's reach reap the disrupted line.

How a bound creature acts
- A companion acts on its owner's initiative, immediately after the owner.
- It uses the Companion block above — roughly ×0.6 HP and damage, no recharge abilities, and at most one reaction trait.
- It moves freely; it takes its Action only while its owner is conscious.
- At 0 HP a companion is broken, not dead — restored on a long rest unless your table rules otherwise.
