To To
cleaver-blade vanguard of the panda village-guard
To To — The Encounter
cleaver-blade vanguard of the panda village-guard · a boss your table can run with almost no prep. SRD 5.1-compatible.
Who Is To To
To To leads the cutting edge of the panda village-guard, a horned-helmed vanguard who carries a broad cleaver-blade made for hewing through massed foes. He points the line at its target and then drives forward to open it, chopping down the front rank so the formation can pour through the gap. The shrine drilled him as a breacher: identify the weak seam, mark it, and cleave it wide. He fights at the head of the warband but never apart from it, trusting the brawlers to hold his flanks while his cleaver does the opening work. Where To To points, the village-guard follows.
Run To To in Sixty Seconds
- Point out the target then an ally's next attack against it has advantage.
- Open with Driving Chop then a failed DC 15 Str save halves the target's speed.
- When he drops a foe take the free Cleaving Strikes bonus attack to chain through the rank.
- When bloodied keep marking and cleaving the seam for the guard to pour into.
To To
Medium humanoid (beastfolk), lawful neutral
CR 6 · 2,300 XP · GUIDELINEMark the Target. As part of its turn (no action), To To points out one creature it can see; the next attack roll by an ally against that creature before the start of To To's next turn has advantage.
Cleaving Strikes. When To To reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack, it can make one Heavy Cleaver attack as a bonus action.
Actions
Multiattack. To To makes two Heavy Cleaver attacks.
Heavy Cleaver. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10+4) slashing damage.
Driving Chop. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8+4) slashing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength save or have its speed halved until the end of its next turn.
To To points out the kill, then opens the front rank with a single broad cleaving blow.

How It Fights — by Tier
Same creature, scaled threat. The traits never change; only the numbers move.
Have To To mark a target so an ally gets advantage, then drive into the front rank. When he drops a foe, take the free Cleaving Strikes swing. He spearheads the warband, never charging off alone.
Open by marking the enemy's anchor so an ally hits it with advantage, then carve in. Use Driving Chop to halve a runner's speed and pin it for the guard. Chain kills with Cleaving Strikes to rip a hole the formation exploits.
To To becomes the warband's breacher, marking and cleaving the seam the village-guard drives through. He leads the cut, not a solo charge. Keep brawlers on his flanks so his cleaver only ever faces forward.

How a bound creature acts
- A companion acts on its owner's initiative, immediately after the owner.
- It uses the Companion block above — roughly ×0.6 HP and damage, no recharge abilities, and at most one reaction trait.
- It moves freely; it takes its Action only while its owner is conscious.
- At 0 HP a companion is broken, not dead — restored on a long rest unless your table rules otherwise.

Questions, Asked at the Table
What CR is To To?
To To is CR 6 (2,300 XP) at his native Tier 2, with Tier 1 and Tier 3 scalings provided.
How does To To fight alongside the rest of the PON Village?
He is the vanguard breacher: he marks the enemy's weak seam, cleaves it open, and chains kills so the village-guard can drive through the gap. He leads the cut but always fights flanked by the warband.
Is To To a boss?
No. He is an elite frontline breacher with no legendary actions; deploy him at the head of a guard formation, not solo.
