Barbarian · Path of the Ironjaw
The armored breaker. Locks on, bites down, and does not let go until the thing he set his teeth in stops moving.
The Ladder

What they learn

LV 1
Lock On Choose a target each turn; while you both live you have advantage against it and it cannot easily leave your reach.
LV 3
The Long Bite Once you have hit a creature, your attacks against it ignore an amount of its armor.
LV 6
Chainmail Rage While raging you shrug the first hit each round; the mail holds where flesh would fold.
LV 10
Does Not Let Go 1/story, fix on a single foe: nothing can force you off it — no fear, no shove, no wound — until one of you falls.
For the Guide

How to run The Ironjaw

VoiceLow, grinding, patient. Speaks in short flat sentences, like a mouse conserving jaw for the work.
WantsTo close, lock on, and finish. To be the one they send at the thing that won't die. To hold until it stops.
Do this nowThe Ironjaw locks on — picks the worst thing on the field and does not let go of it.
“(he set his teeth in the pasture-breaker's flank and rode it down; they had to pry the axe out after)”

Heaviest of the Paths after The Mountain — a wall of chainmail and spiked steel with a single brutal cleaver-axe, the mouse the muster sends at whatever the line cannot break on its own. Where The Headtaker steers a monster and The Headsman ends it, the Ironjaw simply closes and holds, and does not come off until the thing is down. Canon still open; promoted here to the Path of the Ironjaw. His scars are older than his armor, and he has never once said how he got them.
