For the Guide

How to run The Remedist

VoiceClinical, kind, exhausted — keeping a charcoal wall of everything he's learned.
WantsTo save the small hand cooling in his. To read the world's rules fast enough to keep dosing. To not think about who packed his bag.
Do this nowThe Remedist reads the situation like a fever chart — predicts the fall before it happens, triages, names the rule that keeps everyone alive.
“Everything in this Kingdom is well made. I've stopped finding that a comfort.”

The party's field scientist of reality. His medicine works too well — his bag holds cures for plagues that haven't come, brewed years early, to recipes that 'arrived' in his hands. He figures out the survival rules and writes them on his wall. His horror: his lifelong free-willed preparation fits inside somebody's inventory. He stays for the Feast, undecided at the window, a cold vial in his pocket.

Fights best beside — Quiet Mercy — the marked healers. And the six-specialist unit: the party as a machine made of people.
