The Lore of Glitch

Every time Seere passes through a space, light bends. Not because he is bright — because he is too fast for light to follow. Photons scatter. Shadows fall in the wrong direction. And sometimes, in the confusion, things that were hidden become briefly visible.

Glitch is that phenomenon given form.

It carries a lantern — not to illuminate, but to hold the light that Seere accidentally displaced. When Glitch raises its lantern, it does not reveal the truth. It reveals what was hidden. There is a difference. Truth is what is. Hidden is what someone put away.

Glitch does not judge. It only shows. It is the Herald of exposure — the one that walks behind Seere and accidentally undoes every secret he passes through. Even Seere does not know what Glitch has seen. He was already gone when the light fell wrong.

When Glitch raises its lantern, it does not reveal the truth. It reveals what was hidden. There is a difference. Truth is what is. Hidden is what someone put away. Glitch does not judge. It only shows.

Role in the Court

Glitch is the fourth Herald — the last and most dangerous of the things Seere dropped while moving. Where Haste is origin, Speed is ceiling, and Flicker is gap, Glitch is consequence. It is the collateral damage of Seere’s passage.

Of all the Heralds, Glitch is the one most feared by the other spirits of the Ars Goetia. They all have secrets. They all have things they hid. And Glitch walks through the courts of Hell with a lantern full of displaced light, accidentally revealing every one of them.
