Euphoria Luxx
Euphoria Luxx — The Encounter
A crescent of fused sinners, one screaming mouth of teeth · a boss your table can run with almost no prep. SRD 5.1-compatible.
Who Is Euphoria Luxx
Where a city's sin grew too rich to bear, the smoke that fell over it did not merely kill — it bound. Euphoria Luxx is the residue of such a place, every coward and glutton and betrayer who fled the burning streets pressed together into one weeping body, their backward glance made permanent in fused, upturned arms. Scholars of the punished cities name it a vessel of indulgence turned inside out: pleasure that consumed its seekers until they became the appetite itself. The crescent of bodies frames a single mouth, and that mouth is always hungry, for the hundreds within it cannot be sated and remember only craving. It walks on a beast's talons because nothing of the human remains below the waist of grief. To stand before it is to hear your own name called in a hundred familiar, beloved voices — and to be pulled, smiling, into the teeth.
Run Euphoria Luxx in Sixty Seconds
- What it is a Large aberration of fused screaming bodies forming one toothed maw on bird-talons — a grapple-and-swallow horror, an add-on, not a solo boss.
- Open with Chorus of the Damned at the top of round 1 so the party's first attacks land at disadvantage, then grab the softest target.
- Kill-priority whoever can pull a grappled ally free — the caster with misty step or freedom of movement; without them the maw never lets go.
- When bloodied it stops grabbing new victims and clamps the one it has: Devouring Maw every round on the swallowed PC, Drag Under on anyone who tries the rescue.
- Three ways to run it (1) lone gauntlet that locks down one hero, (2) anchor amid a body-horror swarm, (3) the prison-mouth that holds a captive the party must free under fire.
Euphoria Luxx
Large aberration, neutral evil
CR 6 · 2,300 XP · GUIDELINEChorus of the Damned. Signature. The dozens of faces fused into Euphoria Luxx moan as one. At the start of each of its turns, each creature within 15 ft. that can hear it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on attack rolls until the start of the body-mass's next turn, lured by the pleading voices of the consumed.
Grasping Mass. The crescent of arms bristles with reaching hands. A creature that starts its turn within 5 ft. of Euphoria Luxx and is grappled by it takes 7 (2d6) bludgeoning damage as countless fingers crush it.
Actions
Multiattack. Euphoria Luxx makes one Devouring Maw attack and one Grasping Arms attack.
Devouring Maw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d10 + 4) piercing damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 15) and drawn into the maw of teeth.
Grasping Arms. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 15) by the wall of clutching hands.
Bonus Actions & Reactions
Drag Under. Reaction (when a creature within 5 ft. that is grappled by Euphoria Luxx attempts to move away): The body-mass makes a Grasping Arms attack against that creature.
A towering crescent of nude, fused bodies — arms reaching skyward, faces frozen mid-scream — curves around a single colossal mouth lined with human teeth, the whole horror balanced on a pair of clawed bird-like legs.
Euphoria Luxx, Bound
Companion · acts on your initiative
Bound · GUIDELINEFamiliar Voice (signature). When the Hand is destroyed, it whispers one ally's name; that ally regains 5 (2d4) hit points, comforted for an instant before the silence returns.
Actions
Clutch. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 13).
Reactions
Pull Toward the Maw. Reaction (when a creature it grapples ends its turn): the Hand drags that creature 5 ft. toward the nearest body-mass.
A single arm torn loose from the crescent, crawling on its fingers and forever reaching back toward the mouth that birthed it.

How It Fights — by Tier
Same creature, scaled threat. The traits never change; only the numbers move.
Open by wailing (Chorus) before anyone closes, then grab the squishiest PC with Grasping Arms and drag them toward the maw. If the party clusters in melee, Drag Under punishes the first to flee. Pair it with grasping terrain or a cultist herald — a low-level party can win, but only if they kill its grapple first.
Open with the Chorus moan to blunt the party's first volley, then Devouring Maw the nearest grappler-vulnerable target and lock it down. Kill-priority: the casters trying to teleport allies free of its grapples. Use Drag Under to keep a victim adjacent for the maw; pair it with a flagship sinner-lord or minion horde rather than running it alone.
Lead with Chorus to impose disadvantage, swallow a frontliner with the maw, then hold them with Drag Under while the lair's grasping floor pins the rest. Kill-priority targets the healer reaching the swallowed PC. This is muscle, not a solo boss — pair it with a bigger threat or a swarm so its grapples actually matter while the flagship deals the real damage.

How a bound creature acts
- A companion acts on its owner's initiative, immediately after the owner.
- It uses the Companion block above — roughly ×0.6 HP and damage, no recharge abilities, and at most one reaction trait.
- It moves freely; it takes its Action only while its owner is conscious.
- At 0 HP a companion is broken, not dead — restored on a long rest unless your table rules otherwise.

Questions, Asked at the Table
What CR is Euphoria Luxx?
Natively CR 6 (Tier 2, ~2,300 XP) as a Large aberration. The stat record also gives Tier 1 (~CR 2) and Tier 3 (~CR 11) bands so you can drop it into a level 1-4 or 11-15 table by swapping in the listed AC, HP, to-hit, and save DC — the traits and actions never change.
Can Euphoria Luxx be a companion or ally?
Not as the full creature — it is mindless craving and only wails. But a piece of it, the Beckoning Hand, can serve as a grim minion or quest-token: a crawling severed arm (AC 13, 38 HP) that grapples and drags victims toward its parent maw, and whispers a dying name when slain.
How do I keep its grapples from stalling my whole party?
It can only grapple a limited number of bodies at once and resolves grabs through its two attacks, so spread out — don't bunch within 5 ft. where Drag Under and Grasping Mass punish you. A single source of freedom of movement or a reliable escape (misty step, teleport) defangs the swallow loop entirely, which is why those abilities are the kill-priority.
