Pandora's Box Cracks Open: Nekhbet Descends

A surprise drop from the Legion of Agares — available until the end of April.

Nekhbet — vulture-headed devourer miniature STL, 100mm boss figure from Clay Cyanide Pandora's Box

Patrons, the Box has opened.

From the shadows of April's Legion of Agares comes a sub-boss we couldn't keep caged: NEKHBET, the vulture-headed devourer — dragged from Egyptian myth, stripped of her halo, and chained to the ruins of the gods she once protected.

In the old stories, Nekhbet was the white vulture of Upper Egypt, guardian of pharaohs, mother of kings. In our universe, she outlived every pharaoh she ever blessed. She ate them. She ate their gods. And when the Legion of Agares came calling, she answered — not as a servant, but as a sister in carrion.

She stalks forward hunched and feral: talons splayed, blood-feathered haunches coiled to spring, that unmistakable vulture skull crowned in a crest of wrath. Strapped to her back — a colossal sarcophagus-hammer bound in iron chains, every inch carved with hieroglyphs and the weight of forgotten dynasties. Beneath her clawed feet: a shattered medallion and the broken remnants of those who came before.

Ask yourself what god she killed to earn that hammer. Then ask if you really want the answer.

What Is Pandora's Box?

A new Clay Cyanide feature. Surprise loot drops into the vault regardless of the current release theme or the previous one. No schedule. No warning. No pattern. The Box opens when the Box opens — and when it closes, it closes for good.

Pandora's Box is not a bonus model. It's not a stretch goal. It's not part of the monthly set. It is its own beast — something that clawed its way out of the sculpting pipeline because it demanded to exist. When a concept is too dangerous to hold for a future release, too perfect to dilute across a crowded month, the Box cracks open and the creature falls into your vault unannounced.

There is no archive. There is no "I'll grab it next month." When the Box seals, the creature inside is gone. Patrons who were there, were there. Everyone else gets the lore and the memory of what they missed.

Nekhbet is available until the end of April.

For Your Games

Run her as a standalone boss encounter or as Agares' second-in-command. Either way, the silhouette alone makes players put their dice down. The sarcophagus-hammer tells a story before initiative is even rolled.

Pair her with the full Legion of Agares warband — Enchanters, Fighters, Hounds, and Night Haunters — for a multi-wave encounter that builds to a crescendo when Nekhbet unfolds from the shadows. Or drop her cold into any Egyptian-themed dungeon as a mythic guardian corrupted beyond recognition. Either way, nobody forgets the session where the vulture walked in carrying a coffin on a chain.

Crack the Box. Claim the vulture. She won't wait.
