The Grimoire Speaks

Sitri is the Twelfth Spirit of the Ars Goetia, holding the rank of Prince in the infernal hierarchy. According to the Lesser Key of Solomon, Sitri commands 60 legions of inferior spirits and belongs to the order of Princes. As a Prince, Sitri serves within the structured hierarchy beneath the Great Kings of the Goetia.

Appearance

He appeareth at first with a Leopard's head and the Wings of a Gryphon, but after the command of the Master of the Exorcism he putteth on Human Shape, and that very beautiful.

Powers & Dominion

He enflameth men with Women's love, and Women with Men's love; and causeth them also to show themselves naked if it be desired.

Summoning & Constraints

He governeth 60 Legions of Spirits.

Historical Note

The seal and description of Sitri are drawn from the Ars Goetia, the first book of the Lemegeton (Lesser Key of Solomon), a 17th-century grimoire compiled from older Medieval and Renaissance sources. The 72 demons were said to have been conjured and bound by King Solomon using a brass vessel sealed with divine names. Each demon's seal, reproduced above, was used by the conjurer as a means of identification and control during the summoning ritual. Clay Cyanide's sculptural interpretations bring these ancient descriptions into three-dimensional form for the first time as presupported 3D printable STL miniatures.
