Historical Note
The seal and description of Bael are drawn from the Ars Goetia, the first book of the Lemegeton (Lesser Key of Solomon), a 17th-century grimoire compiled from older Medieval and Renaissance sources. The 72 demons were said to have been conjured and bound by King Solomon using a brass vessel sealed with divine names. Each demon's seal, reproduced above, was used by the conjurer as a means of identification and control during the summoning ritual. Clay Cyanide's sculptural interpretations bring these ancient descriptions into three-dimensional form for the first time as presupported 3D printable STL miniatures.
